His words: “I thank those who have expressed concerns over the unwarranted threat to my life regarding my death rumour. I am here now as you can see me that I am hale and hearty.

“The jealousy and the callousness exhibited by some sections of the society emanated from the fact that I have been able to reveal the true name of God. Maharaj Ji is the true name of God.

“The only thing I can say concerning the rumour is that I am excited because they have succeeded in making more people to be willing to learn more about Maharaj Ji and the power behind the name. The death romour is an indirect way of telling me to continue with what I am doing and never to look back.

“I am like the food people eat and the hungry ones are yet to have their own plates or place their orders, the message is the same about Maharaj Ji today and tomorrow.

“People should call the name Maharaj Ji silently or chant it to a bow of water and demand whatever they need with clean heart and that will instantly come to pass. We should have the courage to do the right thing in whatever capacity we find ourselves. For next 200 years, I will still be here. I am not troubled.”

Some of his devotes also poured out their emotions. Chief Obinka Nwakwo who hails from Anambra State described the romour as uncalled for saying it was un-African for anyone to announce the passing away of anyone without confirming the fact.

“We were shocked and embarrassed by the turn of event because we were with Sat Guru all through the week and nothing of such happened. People should be guided by good conscience because whatever we say or do have either positive or negative consequence.

“Guru Maharaj Ji can never die because air never dies. That is what many of them don’t know. They should desist from wicked rumour capable of causing disaffection.”

Another devotee, Mr Folawoyo Mojuba Obode, an indigene of Edo State and chieftain of Sat Guru in Kaduna State called for restraint on the part of romour mongers and urged them to focus on good tidings that could help the nation move forward.

Mr Ebelebe Uzodimma, one of the Maharaj Ji’s communication officers asked those behind the fake news to ask for forgives. “It was strange to us that some people could go out of their way for no just cause to spread such untrue story. They should ask for forgiveness” he counseled.
