President Buhari
The National Assembly on Tuesday, June 5, issued a warning to President Muhammadu Buhari, saying he must be held accountable for the actions of his appointees and must be ready to sanction those that carry out any act that will ridicule or endanger the country and democracy.
This is coming after the National Assembly held a joint session in the chambers of the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
Both legislative chambers met behind closed doors to discuss the political tension in the country. At the end of the session, Senate president Bukola Saraki announced that security agencies must be given marching orders to contain all the sustained killings of Nigerians and protect the lives and properties of Nigerians as this is the primary duty for any responsible government
