Journalists International Forum For Migration (JIFORM) has described the appointment of a prominent journalist and one of its members, Simon Ebegbulem into Imo State cabinet as a fresh hope for the state.
Until his appointment, the senior journalist with passion for migration reporting was the Special Adviser on Media to the former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiohmole, a position he held with honour.
In a statement issued by the President of JIFORM, Ajibola Abayomi, he praised Governor Hope Odidika Uzodinma for meritoriously choosing Ebegbulem to serve as Commissioner saying “ with this, the governor has given the state a fresh hope of excellent service.”
“We received with admiration the news of the appointment and his subsequent clearance at the Imo State House of Assembly. His choice is one of the best things happening in the state at moment. It is an indication that the governor will reposition state to higher height with merit, this gladdens our heart.
