The Apex Leader of Mandate Movement, a political caucus within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon Bayo Osinyemi and members of the group in Mushin Ajeun and Odiolowo council Areas have committed themselves to the progress of the party.
Osinyemi as we gathered took over from Dr Muiz Banire, the former National Legal Adviser of the APC as the leader of group after the latter severed his relationship with the National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu.
At a meeting held at the residence of the Apex Leader at Ilupeju on Thursday all members resolved to bury their past differences.
and work for the advancement of the group headed by National Leaders of APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Reeling out the a code of conduct unanimously endorsed by the group, Osinyemi, the mandate movement resolved to henceforth conduct themselves with respect for one another in a manner that will bring more success’s to the APC in their constituencies and Lagos state.
Osinyemi, a former Chief Press Secretary to Alhaji Lateef Jakande, the former governor of Lagos State and later an elected chairman of Mushin Local Government charged members of the group to always follow due processe in all their dealings by going through the Mandate Movement hierarchies.
Both chairman of the caucus in Odiolowo and Mushin, Hon Yinka Falade and Alhaji Hakeem Kusimo pledged their loyalty to the group.
A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Layi Olawale popularly called Omititi praised the group for their steadfastness and maturity adopted in resolving internal differences.
The lawmaker promised to further extend his empowerment programmes to members of the group.
He pleaded with members that were yet to be captured in his programmes and pledged to get across to them in due course.
