Despite Aminat’s parents opposition to the affair, the lovers rode on with the love song .
They later tied the knot to fulfill their vow to one another and agreed that until death do them apart.
What started as love has now put Cyril Erimosele’s life on the death roll.
Disturbed by the development, the head of Eromosele Family in Lagos, Mr Paul Eromosele has make a passionate appeal to the Nigerian police to rescue his family members from assassins threat.
He urged the police authority to investigate one Islamic cleric (name withheld) whom he claimed had been threatening to kill his bother and other members of the family.
Paul said the outcry was necessitated by a recent attack on the property of his younger brother, Cyril Eromosele whose house was razed, and the screen of his car was also shattered with bullets.
While assessing the damaged property with TheLead Online and other media outfits at Cyril’s residence on 11 Plot Paradise Estate, Ajah Lekki, Paul explained that Cyril had to take a cover elsewhere owing to threat on his life and that of his wife, Oluwaseyi Aminat Eromosele.
“Cyril was lucky as he was’nt around with his wife and kid when the assillants struck. Lawal Rashi Muhammad, his father inlaw had severally threatened to kill him for marrying his daughter against his wish.
“Trouble started 11 years ago when Cyril begin to date Aminat who is from a Muslim background. Her dad did not approve the relationship because of religious differences.
“But since one could not rewind the hand of the clock, the two love birds eventually got engaged on the 23rd, August 2016 and had their marriage on 29th September 2018. Since then they had been living happily with their child.
“Our preliminary findings showered that the suspected assailants may have gotten the address of the couple from the recent publication where Aminat applied to change her surname to Eromosele.
“Days ago, the attackers came here to damage my brother’s property but thank God they missed him and his family.”
Paul appealed to the police authority which already had a copy of his petition to provide security for the family.
