Aare Onakaknfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams on Friday at Arigidi Akoko, Ondo state put smiles on the face of Muslims community in the town when he announced donation of a new car to the Chief Imam of the Central Mosque, Arigidi.
Muslims leaders in the town had threw a challenge at the philanthropist who had contributed immensely to the advancement of Islam and the face lift of the mosque on sevease occasions.
He pledged the donation during the fidau prayer for his late dad, Pa Lamidi Adams.
Islamic scholars and several community leaders had described the late Lamidi as an humble devoted Muslim.
Iba Gani who however promised to redeem his pledge on or before October this year said the Imam was overdue to have a car.
Thanking the Islamic clerics for honouring his dad, he charged all sons and daughters of Arigidi to be united irrespective of their differences to move the town forward.
Highlight of the ocassion was his pronouncement on his intention to join politics soon as he urged all decent Nigerians to follow suite.
