On Saturday May 9, 2020, the National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Deputy Comptroller Joseph Attah, will address over 150 journalists spread across the continents under on the platform of the Journalists International Forum For Migration, JIFORM.
The guest lecturer will deliver a lecture via an online medium to the global journalists body on: Border Drilling; Trade Facilitation and it’s impact on the economy.
Below is the brief profile of the custums officer.
Profile of DC Joseph Attah
Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Joseph Attah Enlisted into the Nigeria Customs Service on the 1st March 1988 at the inspectorate cadre with a Professional Higher Diploma in Marketing, passing out of the training College as the best all round in academics 1989.
He has grown through the ranks runing different academic programes in Public Relations and Diplomacy. He presently holds a Master Degree ( Inter.Diplomacy &Strategic Studiies) from lead City University Ibadan,
B SC Criminology & Security Studies ( NOUN), Dip. ( NIPR), PGD, PR ( NIJ).
DC, Attah has served different at border stations, Airport, Excise factories, Seaports and Customs Intelligence Unit at different times in his career that spans over three decades.
Between 2007 to 2016 he was the NCS Deputy PRO and was appointed the Service Spokesman in January 2017.
SISLAC award for best in Public Sector Communication, 2019 and just announced APRA 2020 winner Public sector policy campaign.
