JIFORM Condoles Telegraph, MMPN Over Bakare’s Death

The Journalists International Forum For Migration, JIFORM, has Express a shock over the demise of Abdulwaheed Bakare, the editor of Saturday Telegraph in Nigeria.

A statement issued in Lagos on Monday by President JIFORM, Ajibola Abayomi, reads thus:

“In total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, JIFORM, wishes to express deep condolences to the family our colleague, Abdulwaheed Bakare, EDITOR, SATURDAY TELEGRAPH NEWSPAPER who passed on Sunday May 24, 2020.”

Bakare was a thoroughbred Journalist, whom the media industry in Nigeria shall miss.

The very active and Journalist
recently took part in the financial contributions to the Covid-19 palliatives by a coalition of 55 Muslim groups in which Muslims Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) is a member.

“We extend our heart felt condolences to the MMPN ably led by Abdur-Rahman Balogun and to the management and the entire staff of The New Telegraph.

“Our prayer is that Allah should confort his family and grant him Al – Janah Firdaus.

“Farahun Warayanu Wajanati Naheem……” Ajibola prayed.
