At 40, JIFORM Extols Mrs Otukpe For Identifying With Needy

By our reporterThe Journalists International Forum For Migration, JIFORM has felicitated with the Executive Director of Social Welfare Hub (DSWHUB), Mrs Abosede Mary Otukpe describing her as a blessing to the needy as she marks her 40th birthday.


The migration advocate is a supporter and one of the partners of the JIFORM-NEKOTECH migration summit holding in Accra, Ghana between January 21 and 22, 2021.


Ajibola Abayomi, the President of JIFORM in a statement on Tusday lauded Mrs Otukpe for choosing to mark her birthday with a special visit to a needy home in Lagos State to donate several food stuffs and other gift items to the moderless kids.

The visit is scheduled for
December 30, 2020 at the
Transit Home, Ipaja Lagos State.


“JIFORM is proud of the progress of  DSWHUB in the area of counseling and reintegrating of returnee migrants, especially the children and single parents that were victims of human trafficking back to the society. A lesson to be drawn from your decision to identify with the less privilege has vindicated you as a role model cum blessing to the needy. Through this, you are committing yourself to helping to make our society a better place to live for all.


“We appreciate your collaboration with us, while wishing you many happy returns in good health of this special moment in your life, please continue to advance migration advocacy with human face and humility. Your gesture to the transit home is a worthy example worth emulating. We shall continue to support your good intentions for humanity.


“For us, the journey to your greatness has just started. We salute your kindness, love and affection for the children. With this initiative, every one should be encouraged to show love to the needy. That little care will go a long way to make them smile forever especially the motherless babies” Ajibola advised.
