UNESC Announces JIFORM Coordinator, Ijoma As Deputy President

The Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM) with headquarters in, Lagos Nigeria has congratulated its Francophone Coordinator based in Togo, Dr Williams Azuma Ijoma over his appointment as the Deputy President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNESC) on Diplomatic Representative Affairs.

 Ijoma has been a consistent passionate migration advocate in Africa over the years.

 A statement issued by Biram. S Jobe, the West Africa Secretary of JIFORM in Banjul, Gambia stated that the entire over 300 journalists and other volunteers covering migration across the continents under the body were thrilled with the good news.

  “We have no doubt that Dr Ijoma’s vision, capability and selfless contributions to humanity earned him excellent recognition at the UN agency. 

“For us, this is a reward for hard work coupled with commitment. As one of our outstanding members and the publisher of the Ebony News, Togo, we have no doubt that this honour will spur you to greater heights. 

“Please accept our best wishes. May the Almighty grant you continued success and guidance. JIFORM shall continue to be proud of you” Biram prayed.
